ValAsta/Astaxanthin Alleviated Ethanol-Induced Liver Injury by Inhibition of Oxidative Stress and Inflammatory Responses

Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is considered to be a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide1.

Studies conducted during the past few years that ValAsta/Ataxanthin plays a key role in anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory responses. This study demonstrated ValAsta/Ataxanthin alleviated ethanol-induced oxidative stress, liver inflammation and thus liver injury.
