About This Research Collection

The ValAsta Scientific Research & Educational Library provides access to independently published scientific studies, laboratory investigations, animal research, and scientific reviews.

Oral health research may examine gum tissue function, periodontal structures, cellular responses to oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, tissue repair mechanisms, and bone remodeling.

Some publications in this collection investigate experimental models of gingival wound repair or periodontitis. These studies are included for scientific education and do not establish that ValAsta® prevents, treats, or reverses gum disease, periodontal disease, oral lesions, or diabetic complications.

Laboratory studies involving cultured human cells are not equivalent to clinical trials involving patients. Changes in cell proliferation, inflammatory markers, or laboratory wound-closure measurements do not necessarily demonstrate improved healing in the human mouth.

Similarly, research involving induced periodontitis in animals cannot automatically be applied to human dental outcomes or used to establish effectiveness in preventing tooth loss or periodontal bone deterioration.

Periodontal infections and other oral health conditions require appropriate dental evaluation and evidence-based care. Dietary supplements should not replace professional dental treatment, routine oral hygiene, or recommended preventive care.

Studies involving astaxanthin may use different formulations, sources, experimental concentrations, administration methods, and study conditions. Unless expressly identified in the original publication, these investigations were not conducted using ValAsta® products and do not establish equivalent outcomes for ValAsta®.
