My dog, Mikey, was diagnosed in late October with Cushings Disease. Cushings affects the dog's liver and untreated can lead to death. I am told that there is no cure for it. But it has been discovered early enough so that, so far, the ValAsta seems to be helping to control the bloating from the Cushings. Mikey will have his blood tested again in early December. Thanks for reaching out to ValAsta®. ValAsta® is just as effective in treating cats and dogs as humans. We would recommend using the same ValAsta® liquid olive oil pump as you do if the animal has a disease/cancer. The topper is for prevention.
ValAsta® liquid with Olive Oil:
Recommended dosage:
Give to your pet 1x a day with breakfast meal.
If the weight is near the next weight category, you can increase by 1 pump. If your pet has a disease/cancer you can increase by 1-2 pumps. You can fill an empty capsule ( up to 4 pumps will fit in 1 capsule) and give in cheese, meat etc. with their breakfast meal.
Suggested Use of Dogs and Cats:
2-20 lbs = 1 Pump
21-40 lbs = 2 pumps
41-60 lbs = 3 pumps
61 lbs and up = 4 pumps
Mix with food.
Order the regular olive oil ValAsta® pump bottle.
Your dog will have looser red stools – this is normal. The stools will harden up about 3-5 days, but they will and should have some red color to the stools.
