In studies and trials, astaxanthin lowered oxidative stress in overweight and obese subjects and in smokers. It blocked oxidative DNA damage, lowered C-reactive protein (CRP) and other inflammation biomarkers and boosted immunity in the tuberculin skin test. Astaxanthin lowered triglycerides and raised HDL-cholesterol in another trial and improved blood flow in an experimental microcirculation model. It improved cognition in a small clinical trial and boosted proliferation and differentiation of cultured nerve stem cells. In several Japanese RCTs, astaxanthin improved visual acuity and eye accommodation. It improved reproduction performance in men and reflux systems in H. pylori patients. In preliminary trials it showed promise for sports performances (soccer). In cultured cells, astaxanthin protected the mitochondria against endogenous oxygen radicals, conserved their redox (antioxidant) capacity, and enhanced their energy production efficiency. Astaxanthin's clinical success extends beyond protection against oxidative stress and inflammation, to demonstrable promise for slowing age-related functional decline.

    Had trouble with the delivery took 10 days freezing weather not happy with the delivery process at all! Since then the Lord has healed me of my pain praise God. The bottle you are talking about is still in the cabinet not opened

    Best supplement I’ve ever taken

    I’ve taken a lot of different supplement's from some of the best companies out there. This is the best supplement I’ve ever taken because it does exactly what Sam says it does and he can clearly explain how it works. There is no question if it works like most other supplements. ‘I think I feel something’ ‘I think it’s working’ ValAsta’s astaxanthin without question works. I had chronic inflammation in my colon for over 10 years that would be diagnosed as IBS, Crohn’s, or something similar. After starting ValAsta the inflammation reduced significantly in a week and was gone in a month. I continued to take 5-6 pumps a day for around 6 months. I currently take 3 pumps a day as maintenance. I am 36 years of age, male, 5 ‘11 height, and weight changes from 135 - 145 pounds. The only other supplement I take at the moment are digestive enzymes, especially when I eat cooked food. I have been eating a raw vegan diet most of the time for the past 4 years.

    Amazing anti-inflammatory

    Have been using Valasta for several months. It has made a big difference in the the way I feel. I do not have the inflammation in my body that I was experiencing and I don't hurt all over.
