Symptoms of Fatigue
- More than tired. Lethargic, Exhausted, Listless.
- Lack of motivation to begin an activity
- Tires easily once the activity has begun
- Mental fatique or difficulty with concentration and memory.
As a result of this four-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, astaxanthin supplementation promoted recovery from induced mental fatigue as well as physical fatigue. These results suggest the novel possibility that supplementation with astaxanthin may reduce subjective fatigue in healthy subjects of both mental and physical stress.
